Karen Douglas

Karen Douglas brings over two decades of experience in content development, technical writing, and operational leadership, with a strong background in higher education and digital transformation. As the longtime Library Acquisitions Coordinator at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Karen managed a $900,000 materials budget and led the institution’s digitization efforts, streamlining operations and enhancing accessibility. Karen’s passion for writing and storytelling is supported by a Master’s in English with a concentration in Professional Writing from the University of Cincinnati.

Karen also serves as the Webmaster for the Ohio Library Support Staff Institute, where she supports a statewide conference for library professionals and oversees the organization’s web presence. With advanced skills in WordPress, Adobe InDesign, and AI content generation, Karen is a versatile and collaborative partner, known for their detail-oriented nature and dedication to continuous improvement.
